Well we made it to Toronto... 1 hour late.  We had to de-ice in Halifax and the flight was 10 minutes delayed before that stop.  Smooth flight once we got in the air.  Mia had a nap which was great since we had been on the road since 7:00.  Gave her extra rest for her big night out at the Wizard of Oz.

The Delta Chelsea was a nice hotel, close to everything.  We were able to pop into Eatons Center and it was only a 5 minute walk to the theatre.  Tom, we ate at Eggsmart this morning...it was great...thanks for the travel tip.  Also the bus from the airport was the way to go.

Mia was super excited about the Wizard of Oz.  We had great seats, only 7 rows back and she was on an aisle so no heads in front of her.  An awesome, colorful and beautifully done production!  We really liked the Lion and the Wicked Witch to the West... they stole the show!  Glinda's dress was beyond over the top covered top to bottom with sparkles.  Mia bought a Toto dog and of course a keychain from the show.

Now we sit at the Toronto airport waiting for the rest of our travel group to arrive and the plane to begin boarding.  I noticed on Flightaware (thanks for that travel tip Uncle Chris) that the flight is 12 hours so not the dreaded 14 hours that I had thought.

For some reason I can not get photos to load on the airport wifi.  I am hoping Andrew will be able to access them and post a few here for everyone.

Talk to you from China!
